Asian Beetle Control in Jackson, WI
Jackson, WI is the home of two of our technicians Mike Harting and Chad Schmidt. Jackson is also the home of Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School of which 5 employees of Advanced Wildlife Control have graduated from. Jackson, WI which is located in Washington County is home to many insects including the Asian Lady Beetle.
In spring and fall Asian beetles look to gain access into your home to attempt to nest in wall voids throughout winter. The beetles look for cool but not freezing areas and congregate in large clumps to hibernate there until spring.
Studies have shown that Asian lady beetles are attracted to illuminated surfaces. They tend to congregate on the sunnier, southwest sides of buildings in Jackson that are illuminated by afternoon sunlight. Homes or buildings shaded from afternoon sun are less likely to attract beetles.
