INSECTS IMPACT HUMANS:
Clearly, insects are a dominating force in Nature, and it definitly benefits us to learn as much about them as we possibly can. They not only control much of what goes on in nature (pollination, seed dispersal, predation, decomposition) but they also can have
a huge impact on Human Health as well. Effective pest control starts with proper pest identification.
WHAT IS INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT?
We at Advanced Wildlife Control use Integrated Pest Management or commonly known as IPM. It is simply the common sense approach that says that any insect or pest looks
for certain conditions that ensure its survival, and its our approach to eliminate these conditions that will insure that your bugs look and live elsewhere. We also use limited chemicals on the inside of the home, not due to any side effects or risks, but just as a company approach to pest control. Our goal is to hit them hard on the outside, before they make their way inside.
Here are our Pest Categories:
OCCASSIONAL INVADERS:
Most Insects can be located in this general category. It covers all insects that seasonally invade the home and a few insects that live in your home year round. Most occasional invaders are just that - invaders. They do not (under normal circumstances) want to live in our homes, but once they wander inside, they will become a nuisance or pest. They adapt well to the surroundings and will live in your home once they have entered.
STINGING INSECTS:
Have you sprayed to prevent Bees and they just keep coming back time after time? Stinging Insects can be difficult to control, but with the right plan and tools we can
prevent and rid your home of pesky Stinging Insects as well as their nests.
COCKROACHES:
Cockroaches may become pests in homes, restaurants, hospitals, warehouses, offices, and virtually any structure that has food preparation or storage areas. They contaminate food and eating utensils, destroy fabric and paper products, and impart stains and unpleasant odors to surfaces they contact.
TERMITES:
Termites can do the most damage of any insect that we have in Wisconsin.
Most termite colonies are active 24 hours creating an expensive problem for homeowners.
