Squirrels in the Attic

If you are hearing fast paced scampering in your soffits or above your heads in the attic you are most likely hearing squirrel activity. Advanced Wildlife Control technicians will give a complete inspection of your attic, garage, roof, and siding to inspect for squirrel access points. We humanely live trap and relocate our squirrels to new areas where they will not have the opportunity to chew into a home or attic space. Our humane live traps are designed so that no damage will occur to your roof, shingles, or wood shakes. The cages are set to live trap the squirrels at the point of entry into your home. This way we insure that we are catching only the squirrels that are living in your home and not those that reside within the area. Humane Squirrel Removal

All of our squirrels are humanely live trapped and relocated to areas that are more suitable for their survival. In some cases squirrels and other animals may contract a life threatening disease. If a squirrel is sick we can humanely put the animal to sleep to end its suffering. Our cages are designed to cause no harm to the squirrels, only to contain them until we can arrive and properly relocate them.

Squirrels loose in the House

Sometimes squirrels become loose in your home and may be difficult to find. Advanced Wildlife Control not only offers same days service, but we can use Infrared Thermal Imaging units to pinpoint the location of any animal that is loose in the home. This allows us to search the home in a short time and find exactly where the squirrel is hiding.

Squirrels in your chimney

A squirrel that is in your chimney will not be able to crawl back up and out of the chimney. Squirrels can fall all the way down to the ash box door in your basement and sometimes enter your home through venting to your water heater or furnace. We can use Infrared Thermal Imaging units to locate exactly where the squirrel is trapped and remove them the same day we arrive.

Squirrels in your garage

Red squirrels are notorious for entering into the garage by chewing on the bottom corners of your garage door stripping. Gray squirrels are usually too big to enter the garage at these areas. We usually set cages inside the garage to remove those squirrels. It is fairly common to have a squirrel chew threw the wires that operate your garage door. So it is important that once the squirrels have made a home in your garage you hire us to remove them quickly.

Many customers ask what can be done to prevent squirrels from gaining access into their attics.
